Phenyl dichlorophosphate (PDCP or PDP)

Phenyl dichlorophosphate is majorly used in the organic synthesis for preparation of lactams, phosphate diesters and for oxidation reactions. It’s a versatile reagent and acts as an activating agent for the formation of thiol esters

Description

Tri Nonyl phenyl phosphite is a clear viscous hydrolytically stable liquid. It is used as an anti-oxidant for various types of polymers, especially in non-toxic applications such as PVC bottles, food wrapping, sealing gaskets for food containers etc.

In combination with phenolic anti-oxidants it provides good synergism to the polymer.

It provides excellent protection against thermal degradation in polymers and rubbers. It is used in Nitrile, SBR and EPDM type of rubbers as a polymer stabilizer along with epoxidised oils.

Application

Additives for surface coating

Food packaging, adhesives, latexes, plastic, polyesters, rubber as stabilizers and anti-oxidant. In PVC calendering operations and in the manufacture of PVC Stabilizer, used in lubricants and petroleum oils as anti-oxidant.

TNPP is a suitable for diverse elastomers such as SBR, NBR and SIS. It is highly effective in light colored solution and emulsion polymerized elastomers. TNPP is excellent in preventing buildup, viscosity increase and retention of track adhesive. it prevents yellowing to synthetic rubbers and ABS plastics during the process of heat. It is effective process stabilizer for thermoplastic polymers such as polyaster, polyethylene and polypropylene.

Description

Speciality Chemicals Manufacturers

Styrenated Phenol (SP) is a clear, yellow, viscous liquid and is supplied in 3 grades Mono, Di or Tri styrenated phenol.

It is a non-staining and non-discoloring anti-oxidant for dry rubber and latex compounds.

It acts as a stabilizer in polymers in combination with other phosphite or phenolic anti-oxidants.

SP particularly finds use in white and colored rubber. The rubber articles that use Styrenated phenol are Hawaii Sheets and Straps, Rubber tubing, Conveyor belt covers and latex dipped products (such as industrial gloves, surgical gloves, feeding bottle teat). Other products such as balloons, hot water bottles, injection bottle caps, rubber rollers and Footwear related items (such as Micro cellular sheets, Resin rubber sling, Canvas upper shoe) use Styrenated Phenol.

SP emulsion is used in the manufacture of latex foam, latex sprays for coir treatment (Coir foams).

SP can be ethoxylated using Ethylene oxide. The ethoxylated SP finds use as an emulsifier in the pesticide industry.

Description

Tri Phenyl Phosphite (TPP) is a clear liquid, used as a performance additive to improve the colour and clarity of alkyd resin, unsaturated polyester resin and various industrial oils during their manufacture.

The manufacture of various resins involves the use of high temperatures, usually in excess of 150° C. At these temperature the reaction mass tends to get coloured due to oxidation. Tri Phenyl Phosphite acts as an anti-oxidant and prevents colour formation of the finished product, as a result of which better quality resins are obtained.
